The Biesse International
Design Award 2026 invites students and emerging designers to develop innovative concepts for objects and furnishings
capable of transforming residential and commercial spaces through a multi-material approach. Projects are expected to explore
the dialogue between design, technology and materials, combining at least two materials among those processed with Biesse
technologies — wood, glass, stone, plastic and composite materials, or metal — highlighting the potential of advanced manufacturing
processes.
The competition offers a total prize fund of €18,000, distributed
as follows:- 1st Prize: €10,000
- 2nd Prize: €5,000
- 3rd Prize: €3,000
Projects must be submitted through the dedicated online
platform by 23:59 (CET) on November 2, 2026. Submissions will be evaluated anonymously by a jury composed of representatives
from Biesse, POLI.design and experts from the design field. The results of the competition will be announced by February 15,
2027.
