Jonas Swienty Andresen/Simon Strøyer / Tideland Studio (DK)

I oA

Tideland Studio applies architectural tools in field research to capture and unfold phenomena relevant to our time. They work in the intersection between science, art, and architecture pushing the boundaries of disciplines to create experiences that inspire and educate. One of Tideland Studio's goals is to mobilize change by bringing attention to climate change. Therefore they embrace architectural technologies that enable them to register, simulate and communicate changes to natural and manmade landscapes.

Tempor(E)alities

As interesting as the times we live in may be, there are undoubtedly unprecedented temporal pressures at work within architecture and design. From real-time to deep time, this I oA Lecture Series is an open-ended collection of creative acts situated in and propelling the so-called Tempor(E)alities.
Thinking about temporalizing orders, logic, and notions in planning and design, the I oA Sliver Lecture Series is set to reflect on spatio-temporal entanglements in its broadest sense and aims to present various time perspectives through the lens of architecture and design.

I oA Sliver Lecture Series 2023/24 Tempor(E)alities is curated by Maja Ozvaldič.
