For the Experimance
Festival 2024, we are looking for artistic positions from the fields of sound art and experimental music. It is possible to
apply as a solo artist and/or as a group. We are looking for existing work approaches in the following categories.
1. EXHIBITIONArtists / groups from the fields of installative sound
art, sound objects and DIY instruments for a sound art exhibition as part of the festival.
Exhibition setup: 8 - 11 July

Duration of the exhibition: 12 - 14 July 2024
Exhibition dismantling: 14 & 15 July 2024

CONCERT & PERFORMANCEArtists from the fields of sound performance, DIY instruments, experimental music.
DIY instruments, atypical playing styles and/or the use of everyday or unusual objects as instruments are the focus of the
festival. Some of the instruments must be self-made. No jazz please!
3. WORKSHOP & LECTUREArtists from the fields of sound art, performance and experimental music for participatory workshops, interactive formats
and lectures.
4. DJ & LIVE-SETDJs (m/f/d) and musicians from the fields of ambient,
soundscape, electro and experimental music. Also danceable sets are welcome for the club night.
French artists:
Once again this year, we would like to build bridges to our neighboring country France and in particular address artists from
the Greater Region.
Students from Saarland universities: Supporting young talents from the region is very important
to us. That is why we especially encourage students from Saarland universities to apply.
