The departments of Financial Accounting, Resource Planning and Controlling support the university bodies by taking the assumptions
made – or future developments occurring – and displaying these as goals and visions, as well as tracking their progress and
ultimately depicting their realization in comprehensible figures.
In addition to providing future-oriented planning and the pursuance of targets, the costing departments, within their framework
of correct accounting techniques, secure the foundation and prerequisites of a reliable information base in respect of the
University‘s current economic situation.
Data that is relevant for managerial purposes is collected, analysed and presented on use of business management indicator
systems to supply information and concepts regarding the university performance, thus providing the University Management
with figures required for efficient and goal-oriented decisions.
