Sustainability Festival
The Department of Cross-Disciplinary Studies,
in collaboration with PBU Angewandte (Plant-Based Universities Vienna), invites you to the Sustainability Festival 2026. A
one-day, student-organised festival exploring sustainability through public talks, workshops, creative interventions, and
community activities.
We are excited to welcome speakers
from communities and organisations working directly on some of the most pressing questions surrounding food, agriculture,
sustainability, and social change.

From rethinking sustainability beyond buzzwords to exploring community-centered approaches to land and
food, and examining pathways for transforming our agricultural systems, the talks will bring together practical experience,
critical perspectives, and concrete examples of change already taking place.
Alongside the public programme, visitors
can enjoy free sandwiches (1:00–2:30 pm), explore student-led projects (e.g., boardgame session – 3:00 pm), browse a free
market, connect with others & just chill!
