The artist and researcher
duo MUELLER-DIVJAK (Dr. Jeanette Müller and Dr. Paul Divjak), who is working at the AIL with international artists and systems
scientists on the FWF/PEEK project SENSING LIVING SYSTEMS. Exploring the Potentials of Multisensory Scenographies for Systems
Awareness (Project lead: Mag. Alexandra Graupner; University of Applied Arts), is devoted to creating experiential multisensory
spaces – the so called SΫS SPACEs – that help enhancing systems awareness through special sensory cues. Such allowing for
coping resiliently with the complex interrelations and interactions that shape our world and all our lives.
SENSING LIVING SYSTEMS — Exploring the Potentials of Multisensory Scenography for Systems Awareness is an artistic
research project initiated and led by MUELLER-DIVJAK (Jeanette Müller and Paul Divjak) at the Angewandte Interdisciplinary
Lab (AIL), University of Applied Arts Vienna, in cooperation with the Bertalanffy Center for the Study of Systems Sciences
(BCSSS). Funded by the Austrian Science Fund in the PEEK programme (FWF PEEK AR 776, DOI 10.55776/AR776).
